QWERTY EDITION OF MARCH MADNESS

Rounds 1 and 2 of the QWERTY edition of March Madness took place for students in upper grades (4-6). One-minute typing tests with covered keyboards determined the 'Elite' 8 competitors from each class.

We enjoyed lots of fun activities in the library during the month of February. 5th graders read "Mercedes and the Chocolate Pilot" and built their own candy parachutes. 5th and 6th graders enjoyed a book tasting where they sampled different genres of books. Kindergarten through 2nd grade played musical books with some new book additions to the library.
